Celebrate the rite of passage into motherhood with these delicious summer sippers. The perfectly refreshing treats to savor as you await the arrival of your precious little one. Whether you want to treat yourself, or use these ideas for planning baby showers or a baby sprinkle, these will add style and flavor to any menu. They are safely non-alcoholic, but certainly no less delicious.

Sangria (serves 8)
*Contains caffeine!*
Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
2 black tea bags OR any loose leaf decaf tea of your choice in an infuser
2 cinnamon sticks
½ cup white sugar
3 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup orange juice
1 medium orange, sliced thin
1 medium lemon, sliced thin
1 medium apple cubed
3 cups sparkling water OR club soda
Directions
- Pour boiling water over tea bags and cinnamon sticks and steep for 5 minutes, discard tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved
- In a large pitcher, combine tea, cinn. Sticks, pomegranate juice, and sliced fruit. Refrigerate for 1 hour preferably.
- Before serving, mix in sparkling water or club soda and serve over ice!
*optional garnish, add an orange on the rim of the glass!*
Moscow Mule (Mocktail Mule)
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
½ cup ginger beer (non-alcoholic) OR ½ cup ginger ale
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons club soda
Directions
- Mix ingredients in a copper mug filled ½ - ¾ full of ice
- Stir together and garnish rim with a lime wedge
Blended Mango Margarita
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
½ cup of ice
¼ cup grapefruit juice
¼ cup mango juice
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 strawberries OR 4 raspberries (or both if you’d like)
1 lime wedge for garnish
2 tablespoons of sugar – optional for garnishing rim of glass
Directions
- Run the lime wedge along the rim of the glass and dip glass in sugar to coat the rim
- Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth
- Pour drink into your favorite glass and enjoy!
Blended Coconut Mudslide
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
½ cup of ice
½ cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup low fat milk
¼ cup shredded coconut (or more if you love coconut like me!)
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
1 tablespoon of mini chocolate chips (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients except whipped cream and choco chips in a blender and blend until smooth or until you reach a consistency of your liking
- Pour into a tall glass and garnish with whipped cream and sprinkled chocolate chips on top!
